synopsis / With a documentary-choreographic approach, the film follows dancer and choreographer Inka Romani as she investigates themes of historical memory, censorship, and the violence inflicted on the bodies of women and queer people during the Franco dictatorship in Spain (1939–1975). The film examines how the regime manipulated traditional dances and how these acts of censorship shaped the cultural identity of Hispano-Mediterranean communities. Through Romani's artistic exploration, the the film brings to light the lasting legacy of this repression, which continues to echo today in Spanish popular culture.
