AN DER AUTOBAHN is a hybrid film developed through close collaboration between emerging artists and musicians. It follows Phương, a German-Vietnamese musician, as he drifts through a rapidly transforming Berlin. A new stretch of highway nears completion, its empty lanes foreshadowing the dismantling of the local music scene. The film explores the erasure of culture in the face of urban development, and portrays underground music as a vital force in the movement of a city.

Stéphanie Morin is a Berlin-based filmmaker, video editor, and musician with a Master’s in American Studies, focusing on the road movie genre. Her editing work has featured in character-driven documentaries with strong social undercurrents, screening at festivals such as CPH:DOX and Thessaloniki.
